Hotels Redruth

Tricky's Cornwall Ltd

Tolgus Mount, Redruth TR15 3TA, UK – 01209 219292

We visited last year with a local friend. We decided on spur of the moment to go tonight. They managed to squeeze us in at short notice. Food arrived quickly and was very nice and large portion. Price too was good. Might have another visit before we go home

A brilliant place to stay with dogs. I highly recommend it. Peaceful with lots of ground to let them have a run. Excellent service in the restaurant, great food too. The staff were lovely especially the ladies on reception . We would have stayed longer given the chance. The room was spacious clean and had a daily maid service .

The Inn For All Seasons

Treleigh, Redruth TR16 4AP, UK – 01209 219511

Pros: great welcome by manageress, offered me a drink even though the restaurant and bar was closing. She even waited for me to arrive as I was late to book me in. Loads of parking space Sea views Lovely room Clean - clean sheets, clean towels, clean bathroom Good facilities in room like tea and coffee and biscuits. Quiet rooms. Great freshly cooked breakfast, fabulous butcher sausages, large portion and good selection of choices including cereals etc. Great waitress, attentive but not obtrusive, got the order t right 1st time and didn't flap as 6 diners arrived at once Cons: curtains in room didn't close properly so let in a little light. Ditch the red chair in room 11, it's a bit grubby. Swap it for one of the ones in the hall. Highly recommended. I only wish I had arrived earlier to try evening meal as the locals highly recommend it. Very amenable hosts.

Great hotel, great food. Full English breakfast was really food. Room was really clean. Everything was looked for. Friendly staff. Would recommend!

Penventon Park Hotel

W End, Redruth TR15 1TE, UK – 01209 203000

This is a family owned hotel. An historic building belonging to the mining era. Has been used during the war for dispensing pensions. The current owner has ensured that it retains the beautiful original features and has added a Venetian themed dining room extension. However along the the old world grandeur is the benefit of modern accommodation. It has a gym and spa, pool and massage are available which are open to non residents. Senior packages are on offer. There is a selection of conference rooms each with their own bar and available for functions such as weddings and parties. The hotel will provide food but have no problems with arranging your own. The forum room has a small stage for live music and a dance floor. The separate dining room has a pianist providing music for the evening diners. 24hrs reception and a small gift shop. With friendly pleasant staff the hotel offers many secluded areas to have a quiet drink, coffee and tea with cake as well as alcohol both day and night.

Having only spent one night at the Penventon Park Hotel my review will be brief. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The hotel is really the only decent hotel in Redruth and has a beautiful entrance drive down to the hotel. Our room and bed were comfortable but parts of the hotel are looking a little bit worn. We had a delicious dinner and breakfast in the hotel restaurant which I will definitely recommend. We had the cutest young lady that served us which made our meals even more enjoyable.

Traditional pub with a comforting atmosphere, good beer (and other drinks) and good food. My new favourite English pub!

The Treleigh Arms

Treleigh, Redruth TR16 4AY, UK – 01209 315095

From the girls serving behind the jump. To the great music. And the best pub food I have ever eaten and I’ve eaten in a lot of pubs. This place is fantastic a gem Cornwall at its absolute best

Visited the Treleigh Arms on a Wednesday evening, where it was steak night. 2 steaks for £20. All 4 in attendance opted for steaks, all cooked differently, with alternate sauces. All party members commented how beautiful their dinner was. Cheers! As a side note, I would ring and book a place in advance for evening visits. We were very lucky, as there was only one table available for our party size.

I have nothing but praise for this company. We booked a cottage as a present for our friend's wedding this week and we had a lovely e-mail exchange with Andrew. He bent over backwards to help us and we managed to get it all booked keeping it a surprise from the bride. Would definitely recommend to others. Thank you again Andrew!!

Rayle Farm Holiday Cottages Cornwall

Rayle Farm Holiday Cottages, Bridge, Redruth TR16 4QP, UK – 01209 842245

We have been going to Rayle Farm for several years, and were there last week. It is ideally situated with walking distance to Portreath Beach, and 2 miles from the A30 Road enabling easy trips all over Cornwall. We have tried several cottages over the years and all are excellent with free hot water radiators and free electric, it's home from home. Dogs are welcome with a large grass area for dogs and children to play on. We would recommend Rayle Farm Holiday Cottages to everyone, you won't be disappointed.

Just had a lovely week been many times would definitely recommend our dogs love it they are very sad to be going back to London our favourite place to stay coming again in a couple of months

Cornwall Holiday Pixie Cottage

Mill Cottage, Harris Mill, Redruth TR16 4JG, UK – 07919 216495

Well what can I say I booked this cottage for my parent's too come and stay in Cornwall,as I didn't have the room for them too stay. I picked this location as they like too be out and about and like walking. Its also near too the beaches as well as towns and shops if needed. WOW they loved it every thing and more you could ask for. There was 2 adults and 1 child staying but still room for more people. They loved the wood burner as they could sit with a real fire in the evening after having done so much within the beautiful location it sits. Would definitely book again. A big thank you!

Wonderful well equipped little cottage, dog friendly and child friendly. With a small enclosed garden. Close to beaches and country walks. Lots of amenities within reach from horse riding to surfing.

You can find excellent very well priced accommodation around Redruth using Airbnb.

We run an Airbnb bed and breakfast down in Devon (house below) - and we have stayed in Airbnb accommodation all over the place. You can find the wonderful little gems with totally committed hosts and really frightful places which you put down to experience! You absolutely have to read the details of each listing - and read the reviews! Basically use Airbnb wherever we go - but we do do our homework!

If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!

Redruth Campsites and Caravan Parks

Tehidy Holiday Park

Bassett Rd, Redruth TR16 4JQ, UK – 01209 216489

Lovely place to stay. Been coming to use their cottages for many years. Owners and all the support team are knowledgeable and friendly. What with fresh croissant and amazing fresh baguette daily, a peaceful location and helpful team, what more could you want!

Lovely, quiet site. Friendly, helpful owners. Near to many attractions and beaches. A great place for families. It has a good play area for the children and a little indoor games room with football table and pool table for 50p a go (not a bad price). The pack given on arrival contains all the leaflets/brochures of local attractions so you'll never be short of things to do. WiFi is not free, cheapest family option is for several devices, but it's patchy arrival best, often dropping out. But you're not in holiday for the wifi so enjoy the peace of the site!!

Wheal Rose Caravan & Camping Park

Wheal Rose, Scorrier, Redruth TR16 5DD, UK – 01209 891496

We just had a fantastic two weeks at this campsite first time we have been very clean friendly relaxed. No mad restrictions on the swimming pool which I really liked. Showers and toilets were clean tidy and lots of hot water Thanks Andy

Nice quiet campsite. Facilities are not as up to date as other sites, but you get a small quiet site to enjoy.

Globe Vale Holiday Park

Redruth TR16 4BH, UK – 01209 891183

A very clean and relaxing campsite. Copious use of natural stone gravel around the park meant clean shoes and therefore clean caravans, campers and tents. New shower block facilities were functional and very clean. Showers need better pressure/water flow as it was barely adequate. Would return in future.

The caravan we stayed in was extremely comfortable and very clean. It had everything we could have needed. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. The site as usual was immaculate and the atmosphere in the bar is very friendly and relaxing
