Took our ride on mower flat tyre in today at 9.45 and they were very busy. They took my tyre and as promised it was ready for 12 noon. No charge as just needed resealing. Excellent service and very helpful staff. Thank you

Great guys, always happy to help. I have a awkward vehicle and find it hard to explain to people that the engine is not original to the car - The amount of time I have had to explain this to EuroCarParts or similar and still have them bring out the wrong part is silly. However, VeeDubMachine know their stuff, understand that it isn't the original engine and all whilst providing great prices!

Good advice, a choice of prices / parts. Run by a man with knowledge of the practice of VW mechanical repairs, I took in some photos of my car's problem areas to show , they then could work out which parts were suitable

About the biggest Halfords I've been to. Plenty of free level parking outside. The store is fully accessible, and the huge cycling department upstairs is accessible by lift or stairs. Superstores are great aren't they? There's a huge range of products and extensive choices available, as long as you don't mind spending ages hunting around the place to find what you want. Places this big should have a help desk at the entrance and free maps to locate items. The lady who was at the checkout was pleasant enough, but overall not the best shopping experience.

As with most halfords stores I've been too, they tend to operate with barely enough staff to offer any kind of attentive customer service. If you're looking at stereos or sat navs then there's usually a young know it all assistant that's more than happy to swoop in and offer advice but stand near the car seats (for say 20 mins trying to choose) and you get looked at by the same staff member as he walks off and talks to a customer 3 Isles over looking for car seat covers. If you know what you want and are prepared to just go and find it then this store has a lot to offer. If you want advice then just pray it's area of interest for the shop assistant to show off his man prowess and technical knowledge. This store does excel with its bulb fitting service. There's always someone that magically appears to offer to do this for you and charge £5 or so for 2 mins work.

Went to buy a car had a very classy experience. New premises very swish confident sales person ten out of ten hope the car is as good. Car developed a fault within 48 hours service department dealt with the fault without delay loan car supplied for the period.

My partner and I travelled in Constance for 4 days around Southern Wales in the Easter break and had a fantastic time. The van was very homely, with a very comfy bed and excellent little fire which was brilliant for those colder nights. Quirky Campers were also great to deal with and made the whole hiring process a breeze. Couldn't recommend highly enough!

Constance is a joy. At first I was surprised at just how homespun it is, but after a couple days we loved it and those touches that make it so quirky became enduring too. It's easy to drive, although your partner will probably need to do some hopping out to help with reversing. The comfortable bed is super wide, but a bit short for anyone over six foot - the good thing is that the width makes a bit of diagonal sleeping possible. We cooked up a couple of meals and it brought happy memories of my first bedsit flooding back. A two ring burner and a little oven is all you really need to cook up a storm. If you've been away in a Transporter you'll love the space Constance offers. It's the sort of size that would be OK to live in and leaves you wondering what you do with all the space in your home. It's not cheap, and there are no frills, but consider it an experience and go love every minute. We camped at the excellent The Meadows site just up from Pentewan.

While on holiday I cycling around Cornwall I had a fault with my bottom bracket Bike Chain Ricci were open on the Sunday which is a bonus in itself! Bike Chain Ricci was happy to fit me in to allow me to continue with my cycle holiday. I picked up the bike the next day and went out to cycle the coast road to Lands End. Unfortunately during my ride I incurred a fault with my bike pedal arm. I called the bike shop and that went above and beyond and came out to me as I was stuck in the middle of nowhere land. They repair my bike there and then and I was able to continue with the rest of my ride. Thanks again, will return again if and when I need bike maintenance.

Mazda RX8 Owners don't use their recommendations! Putting your reg in will bring up 5w30 fully synth. If you want to destroy your engine then go ahead! You should use 10w40 mineral, as fully synth leaves carbon deposits when burned and the weight recommended by mazda is way too thin and will cause your stationary gear bearings to wear out very fast. The older the engine the thicker you should use. Google it, just want to save some owners from ruining their cars.

A really good range of choices on a huge amount of quality products. The store appears to cater for all, from basic needs to speciality requirements, all presented in an attractive style. Friendly, helpful staff who are always happy to help wether finding a specific item or for example on the fresh fish counter help with how to cook and some great recipes and suggestions. It really makes a difference when you can build a friendship with the staff, it's definitely one of the positive things that has held me as a returning customer throughout the years.
