I don't like going to a dentist but these are very good and if you inform them you have a dental phobia they are very good I have to agree with a Mr Steven Green. Joe was a fantastic dentist. Its so dad that he retired. I gotta admire the bit where he said Joe came over with a gas bottle and sorted the horses teeth out. That was good old Joe Fitzgerald.

Having been at Bond Street dentist for over 8 years and being an extremely anxious patient, I was absolutely terrified of going to the dentist with severe toothache. If it wasn't for the toothache, I would have put off the check up. I have had some really poor experiences here before with abrupt receptionists and ever changing patronising dentists. Previously, my anxiety wasn't taken seriously (except for one specific time where a dentist who has since left, was lovely and calming). The treatments were rushed and dentists negative and unsupportive. This time, the dentist Dimintrov (Sorry if misspelt) and dental nurse were so welcoming and calming. They took the time to explain and talk through any anxieties. He was very quick at finding out where the toothache was coming from and put a temporary filling in until I could be booked in for a proper one. He was so relatable and even explained how much he disliked seeing the dentist himself! Although I'm still very anxious of the treatment, I will approach it slightly calmer! The pain has continued unfortunately and although I was given an appointment in 3 weeks time, when I phoned this morning, the recptionist could understand why that was a long time to wait and offered advice on pain relief, made an earlier appointment for next week and has put me on the cancellation list. She was friendly and helpful. I hope this is the beginning of much more positive dentist appointments. For nervous patients, this could mean the world of difference and could stop the vicious cycle of being too afraid to visit the dentist at a little niggle so then waiting for it to become unbearable and then their teeth are much worse!

Not my favourite place in the world but when you need help they are there to help.....
